Description

After their meal, Herman, aka The Prime Mover, accompanies the boys around the mall as they finish the tasks they had started before meeting each other. Kyle was shopping for some clothes for the fall. Jeremy had a list of items his Mother wanted from various shops. Before long, they finish. They look to Herman to see if he is ready to start his task. 'First, I sense that you need to complete all your tasks. Jeremy, take your Mom's packages home. Wait there and I will swing by and pick you up. Kyle, take your items back to your apartment and tidy up your place a bit. I sense you tend to get just a little bit unorganized when no one is around. You need to work on that. Once you have finished, we will swing by your place and pick you up as well.' They return to the parking ramp where the boys retrieve their vehicles and return to their homes where they complete their tasks as suggested by Herman. They wait. And they wait. And they wait some more. And just when they are about to give up and think that their experience with Herman wasn't real, he shows up. First he picks up Jeremy. 'You don't need to pack anything. I will supply everything you will need for the duration of this expedition.' By the time they get to Kyle's, he is waiting outside. He is looking just a little bit disenchanted. It doesn't take Herman long to brighten his spirits though. He also tells Kyle he doesn't need to pack anything since he will be supplying everything for their requirements. 'Another test for you both. Patience is a virtue. I'm sure both of you have heard the old saying. Well, in my long experience, it not only is a virtue, it is impossible to exist without it. That is why I give you this little lesson to see how you will react. I will be giving you other little lessons as our experiences together unfold.' They drive off together and merge into the first freeway out of the city. It isn't long before the sleek vehicle they are riding in is cruising through the countryside, exiting onto a dark starlit highway. The city lights have rapidly receded into the distance leaving them amazed at the brightness of the stars above them which neither boy had noticed before, having lived in the city all their lives. As they drive, Herman tells them of some of the problems he already is aware of on earth. The rampant greed, selfishness, hatred and lunacy demonstrated by an overly large percentage of the population can only lead to one conclusion. Things are out of control. Corrections need to be made. Herman tells the boys about other planets that received the very same start earth did, but turned out so very much different. The species of humanoids that evolved on most of his experimental planets have developed very much along similar lines as those exhibited here on earth body wise. But on most of the other planets, earth's weaknesses never materialzed. They are very advanced species where love, honor and respect for all creatures on their planet are the rules of the day. With these values in place, the results are astounding. Everyone working together for the common good results in no out of control illness, no power hungry despots, no displaced individuals, poverty or hunger. And Herman lists off many more advantages these species have over the earth inhabitants. 'Gosh!' exclaims Kyle. 'It sure would be nice to see one of these planets just to see how it should be done!' with Jeremy shaking his head in agreement. At those words, their vehicle changes shape and the boys see the ground disappearing below them. No one can adequately describe the thrill of the body when launched into outspace. Each individual has a different take on it. But to say the boys were thrilled to see the earth grow smaller beneath them would be an immense understatement. 'Hey, our clothes are different!' exclaims Kyle. 'How did that happen?' 'I told you boys, I would take care of everything! Where we are going, these rags are currently all the rage! You will fit right in! Rest assured! Now, let the adventure begin!' M4 characters. Rendered in Poser Pro 2014. Post work in Photoshop 7. Thank you for taking a peek!
