Description

Taken at the Grove of the Patriarchs in Mt. Rainier National Park. Most of the large, old growth trees here are Douglas fir, red cedar & hemlock. Some are almost 50 feet in circumference & over a thousand years old. An awe-inspiring place to visit, though I found it challenging to capture the scale of these trees... Please zoom.
