Well, as I understand it, Trump has quite a few Jews in his family. This kind of 'mistake' is a form of 'gotcha' politics where form is more important than substance. I suspect Trump is as successful as he is because people are tired of 'gotcha' political correctness where harmless and meaningless things are 'trumped' up into 'important' issues. How can anyone really care about the shape of a star? Do you think that anyone except people in the media take this sort of thing seriously? I also have no clue about what the pink triangle stands for. I'm just pointing out that this kind of thing, making meaningless trivia into an excuse to ruin lives and destroy careers is what people are tired of and why they like Trump. He is the fat boy in the schoolyard standing up to the PC bullies.

May I gently suggest that you learn a little about these things before writing?

He got his campaign image from a well known white supremacist site. He — and his handlers — knew exactly the outrage that would follow as a result, because cut through it all, all Trump is, is a media whore. He's not interested in the job; he just wants the face time and the access to a new group of investors he can bilk for untold millions of dollars for projects that he knows will never turn a profit. Abd he will exploit any outrage he can for that purpose. It's taken people a while to figure that out, but now it's just obvious.

As for the pink triangle, I will leave it to you to do a simple Google search. It might take all of thirty seconds, if that. To claim ignorance of such a symbol, especially these days, is no excuse.
