Description

The story of this early evening emergence of the Southern Hawker continues. I was most worried that this insect had left it very late in the day to leave the water, It was already about 18;40 and the centre wings were not separated or stiffened. I moved from a dangerous position over the water to this plant Here where it could continue the lengthy process more safely.
