Ouais, je ne suis pas certain que notre Monde connaîtra la Paix un jour, vu la montée des nationalismes, des intégrismes religieux, des racismes, des injustices de tous ordres...Surpopulation, problèmes liés à l'eau potable, problèmes liés à l'énergie, problèmes de pollution, réchauffement climatique et montée des eaux... Enfin, merci quand même bien que je me sente bien plus proche et solidaire d'un paysan des Andes ou d'une ouvrière du textile du Bangladesh que d'un milliardaire ou d'un néo-nazi français...

I love this one, Ute - but at the risk of exposing my stupidity and sounding so Western, what happens on July 24th in France? I am in Canada so we know about the USA and their July 4th celebrations but we never hear about the rest of the free world!

I just read the story of the man that killed at least 73 people in Nice by running a large truck into the crowd and then shooting them.

the world is coming apart at the seams.
