another beauty from your '05 thru'08 stash; and I've noticed that a number of these old flower shots are pretty much solo shots, with beautiful close cropping. I don't know if that's because the lower resolution forced you to focus on one object, or because you were going for single flower shots to begin with; but whatever it may be, you've produced a series of beautiful single portraits, each one a 'presentation'---like the flower posed for you---and each one sensuous, with beautiful colors. A beautifully balanced shot; and the background is a perfect vivid contrast.
