Description

Just got 'Above the Fog' from Daz and wanted to do a cloud scene where a ship breaks through. Not sure it came out as well as it appeared in my head though. Still, good to experiment and try new things.

Hmmm...I see what you're going for, but It almost looks like it's sitting on an ice bank. Still, you're actually the first person I've seen actually try to do a scene like this. I'd love to (I have one in mind actually) but I doubt I could pull it off.

I agree with the comments about ice . . . there is a chilly feeling about this render. To me it looks like the ship is flying through a cloud in winter, which is very impressive and a strong visual. Your composition is very daring too, with the ship nestled in the upper right corner.

Yeah, I was kinda frustrated with the clustering of the fog. There's a item called Above the Clouds Iray that I have in my wishlist. If it ever goes on sale, I'm gonna snap it up and try this again.

Not sure what you did, not having DAZ. I think it's the upper left background that gives the impression of the ice. Keep going though!
