Description

I had transported branches in my car, and then I spotted this stick insect behind the windscreen where he risked to dry out in the sun. I put him on a bramble leaf, and an hour later he had eat his meal, then went away to live his life ... J'avais transporté des branchages dans ma voiture, et ensuite j'ai repéré ce phasme derrière le pare-brise où il risquait de se déssècher au soleil. Je l'ai posé sur une feuille de ronces, et une heure plus tard il avait fait son repas, puis il est reparti pour vivre sa vie... Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200

On voit très bien sa tête repliée pour manger la feuille, et les antennes articulées..........un close-up "pris sur le vif" , bien que le mouvement soit très lent, c'est superbe, Jean-Claude !

Beautiful story and I love seeing that you gave him a meal. My wife once saved a Hummingbird with a drink of sugar water. She swears that little bird came back this spring. I hope your new friend enjoys his life here on this earth.
