Description

2002 - Lightwave / Photoshop - Here's the 'factory new' spitfire with D-Day markings. She needs less reflection, diffusion textures and a touch of anti-CGI realsim (but that's stage 4!!). What she does have is near-full automation...The model itself is parented to a mover null but when the spitfire mesh is rotated in pitch, roll & yaw the control surface respnd accordingly (saving time during animation)...colour schemes and marking reference from the 'Jane's' website. ; )

It might be just me, but the angle of attack of the propeller blades seems a little too steep. Nice model otherwise, though :)

Damn good, very impressive and great detail all around. (possibly the prop may have been a 4 blader during 1944, but still supurb, congrats).

Excellent work! Watching the evolution of the model through the different stages was enjoyable and informative. For some inexplicable reason, I feel like straffing my neighborhood right now. :o)
