Description

I for one, was NEVER happy being catapulted into another application and all the associated error messages and annoyances that went with it. I cannot understand why Smith Micro/Poser didn't make more use of the advice of all the very capable Beta testers and it has taken the VERY Talented Lululee and some very accomplished "third party" Poser Gurus to make this transition possible. I have just completed an exercise, with Tempesta's SUPERB skin tones and added Bez's lovely background and a little postwork. I have watched the Genesis in Poser Tutorial and have no doubt I will be posting a Genesis 3 and Victoria 7 character WITHOUT going NEAR DS! Thank you Lululee for all your help and thank you for stopping by and pretty PLEASE read up on Lululee's very comprehensive tutorial. Steve ;)

Gee I knew someone would come up with fix, of course due to the delay I now do 95% of my stuff in DAZ as Superfly GPU renders use almost 100% of computer resource so that you can not anything else on the computer. I have yet to try a CPU render, but why pay for a 1000.00 plus video card if you can not use it. I noticed DAZ Iray uses both card and cpu which maybe why I can at least watch Netflix and render at the same time.

Good to know that fix for Genesis 3 is available at last. Long overdue, and strange that Smith Micro didn't make the most of the opportunity to get back in the frame with this much requested conversion. Looking forward to seeing your post, and much appreciated for the link to Lululee. Currently climbing the learning curve for Superfly, and finally starting to get some credible renders in reasonable times. So far resisting the urge to overclock my poor GPU too much :) Otherwise excellent work as always!

Looks great, Steve. I picked up Lululee's tutorial a few days ago but have not had a chance to give them a view yet. The results you demonstrate here are very encouraging to Poser users. I also have to second what you said about SM. In fact as a long time Poser user, Poser content creator, and beta tester, I got very disheartened with the seeming lack of interest on SM part to give its users the kind of program and support we need. I see where they have been trying to rectify some of that but we desperately need a good solid male and female figure. One that folks will use and content creators will invest the time in supporting because its profitable to do so.

Lululee has been a great vendor since Victoria 3 for me. I have not made a Victoria in Poser, though, since it made it so I cannot find my props and textures I import and Michael 2 was my last. I have 32 Gb of memory and a sort of fast mobile card coupled with Integrated graphics on the cpu in my Alienware.

I just started in with the Genesis figures, went right into G2. The biggest frustration for me when using them in poser is no IK. Making tweaks to poses and keeping hands and feet where they're supposed to be is impossible. Hell, it's even damn near impossible in DS. Their pinning doesn't work very well, And elbows and knees and such will go really haywire really quickly.

So, can you use IK with G3 in Poser with the tutorial?
