How could I title this anything else? This is my newest creation, Mandy. Mandy's face was modeled from photos of a model that I shot in my studio about a decade ago. That texture is from a photo of her face. I have not created the rest of the skin, yet. But, the face seems to work well with the optimized Genesis 2 materials. One thing I notice is that 3D figures are similar to humans in that some of them are easier to get a smile out of. Many of the very small mouthed figures don't morph well when dialing in a smile. Mandy was created with a wide mouth opening. And much like the real life model, her smile is very natural. This is the second attempt to recreate the look of the actual girl. This is very close. An earlier attempt was not as close, but produced another very attractive face. So, I will rename that one to "Mindy" and post some of her images as well. Simply changing the skin texture radically altered the way Mindy looked in comparison to Mandy. So, I get two girls...perhaps, sisters from the original model. This is the first test render of Mandy. Unfortunately, because of the tech at the time the photo was taken, there is some chromatic noise in the texture. This shows up as the dark yellow areas. For the finished product, I might have to patch some of these areas and hope not to take away too much from the "aliveness" of the original. Thanks for looking!
