Description

After seeing a nice picture of San Vito Romano (Lazio, Italy) and a stunning Rochr’s W.I.P. I decided to make this. The illustration itself - especially its title - is inspired by “Uscita a Tre”, a Alessandro Girola's short story: Ocipete (named after one of Harpies) is a small village located in the San Martino Valley (Northern Italy), and seems straight out of a post-industrial nightmare. Yet someone (or something) still lives there. Building and props: Hexagon - Rendering: Bryce 5.5 - Postwork: Adobe Photoshop. Many thanks for viewing.

A wealth of detail here! The chosen point of view and those details give this a real sense of place, makes it feel as if the location pictured could be found if only I looked. Nicely done.

Bellissimo paesaggio, effettivamente mi ricorda uno scorcio di Bolsena vista dal castello verso il lago !!

Beautiful mountain village architecture, very well observed (most big city folks have no idea that people still live in these kind of places ;-)... The monochrome renders a pleasant calmness to the view -- thank you!
