Description

While out walking yesterday noticed this wasp, later identified as Gymnomerus laevipes,obviously make an effort to get at something it took some 15 mins to finally grab the unfortunate grub inside that will now become food for the wasps off spring .This shot is when it finaly got a good grip and the grub was doomed.taken with canon 100 mm macro lens 1/200 f14 and flash .
