Description
... very difficult to get decent shot with this camera, and looking for a place to donate these 40+ yr old "watermelon" crepe myrtles,
as they will become mulch around November if I cannot find a planter.

I see they are sparse on flowers like mine. mine did well for a while but keep having trouble with fungus on the branches.

They're filled with flowers, but I can't seem to find the right lighting conditions to catch the fullness... alas .

There are so many around, but these are about 50 years of age and maybe 20 feet tall... need shaping some, but will probably be trashed to make room for more town homes... we're apparently expecting a huge growth in population...
