Description
I just learned today of the passing of the great modeler/ artist/freind across the pond ... Neil Wilson ... Very sad to hear this. He was very helpfull and as generous as they come. Although we never met, our on lline chats were great and if i were to ever have gotten back to England, I would have certainly looked him up. His skills and generosity have provided me with plenty of wonderfull models with which to spend many hours, and helped keep me to create art without searching and spending a small fortune. His work is some of the best out there and will remain so. His models made my art look good. Thank you Neil Wilson .... God Bless your family and may you rest in peace. As long as the avaition artists here keep creating and using your models, you will live forever ...

Great sentiments for Neil. He's looking down on us right now and appreciating all our love of him and his models being used by so many fans. I'm sure he would find much pleasure in your beautiful air battle. Nice job.

Beautiful memorial image. I, too, was good friends with Neil. But I just don't understand how you could miss his passing until now? Keep up the good work! Much appreciated. :-)

T Rex, I have not posted or been on the site in a good long while ... April of 2015, was the last time I posted. So today I was on share cg and found the mention of his passing.

I had been out of things going on for a while, and had just learned of the passing of my friend. He was an inspiration, a teacher, and had generosity to spare. He had sent me a model he created for me, I was always thrilled when I received a message from him. He never wanted a lot of recognition, just to see what he created used to make others happy; and he did that well. He was quick to volunteer to help out in some way, or to create what someone was looking for; that was my first encounter with my friend. I wish there were adequate words to express my sympathies to his family and friends. There's now an empty spot of the bridge of the Texas that can never be filled.
