I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Glad you and the girls had a load of fun. Bummer about restrictions these days cause of others who abuse these cool toys and have laws now. Great shots.

Cool idea! Yeah restrictions apply more and more to the cool RC-Hobby. Though it is not yet so extreme in europe, they are thinking about harder restrictions as well. This is so annoying, just because some idiots do not have comon sense and fly these in dangerous manner or want to spy on others private life we all have to bear the restrictions now. I was in US some years ago and took my little Blade 200QX with me and made some nice aerial footages with it. Nowadays I wouldn't be permitted to fly it, since non US citizens cannot yet register with the FAA and hence cannot fly any RC-Gear anymore (unless you do it illegaly)

Absolutely great atmosphere - both in the figurative and literal sense :-).

Phew! From the thumb nail I thought it was some new sort of hideous insect you'd caught on camera! What a relief when I saw it was your whirly-gig! Nice photos of it. Beautiful nose art (have we seen and commented that before? Doesn't matter. We do so again!). How did you succeed in both flying it and photographing it? Hover function? And how does that work if there's a breeze? I find this fascinating, but can't afford even a mini-helecopter from a toy store. As for restrictions - when I came to Sweden 1978, the military forbade all forms of photography from the air, due to that times fear of espionage. Today, Google has handed everyone the surface of the earth on a golden platter. So those rules are gone. But, due to power lines and radio/cell phone masts, etc., there are necessary rules in place. There are not all that many choppers of this type in Sweden. Mostly used by company's that have a need for aerial photos. A few sporty people who can afford it. What people here worry most about are potential EU rules overriding individual countries rules. Keep up the good work! I'm looking forward to more aerial photos. I remember how you used this to find the tree that had broken your power line. That was a great job! :-)

It's all GPS magic. With many of these newer birds, you let go of the controls, and it just sits there in a hover. All the newer DJI models (Phantoms, Inspires, etc) have built-in GPS, and geofencing.

flying high in April, shot down in May. I do not know why that song came to mind. great captures

There are vigilantes shooting them out of the sky now. Some asshats are still using them to fly into fire zones here in Cali and when they are seen, the entire fire crews shut down cause they can't fly the water drops in with those buzzing around. Yours, on the other hand, is very cool. Kewl nose art, too. ;)

Your Inspire is in deed very inspiring! Sure looks advanced compared to your first bird. So, do you have to have a registration number on it yet?

It does have an official FAA number - you can just make it out on the angled white fuselage section just above the camera. It doesn't have to be big, just legible. I'll probably make a decal soon - right now it's just a small placard.

None of those around here that I've ever seen. But I'm close to the airport, so this is likely a no-drone-zone.
