Description
The movie Blade Runner, which, to me, was about what defines being human, was based on a story by Pillip K, Dick, called "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? "... the pose is my own obscure comment on a pose i see as way overused and overtitled in a lot of...artistic nudes

Let's hope those mechanical bulls aren't getting jealous... and that is some wild fantasy Marco and so well executed - you have a brilliant mind ! KUDOS [we also have another book by P.K.Dick: 'Clans of the Alphane Moon']

Thanks so much Brigitte!... i love his writing, for me, it provides so much imagery, and his questions remain relevant... i love "Clans..."... an underrated one of his i think,i love the concept of a novel taking place in such a different planet, or is it so different ?

playing catch-up [hermine - long power outage - fun stuff due to locale of which i'm sure you've been a party of yourself]... missed this one, and find myself giggling o'er the title and the pose, the boyhood fantasies that n'er seem to fully quell themselves [and to some degree, we, both men & women, should be thankful for that... heh]... what i truly play with in my mind though is juxtaposing your image here from a male perspective with how it might be were you a woman, what that pervasive fantasy would look like, the dream the same at the core, but not, since that n'er really seems to be a thing regularly 'viewable', or created, by us females... [should any of this makes sense since i'm sitting here a bit glazed, wondering where my morn' coffee may be]

first, let's get you some coffee... you are much more coherent without it than i would be... my thoughts on a male version of this... if i look at it in the context of the Blade Runner theme ( what defines humanity?), the male image would be just as relevant...and it would be relevant as sexual objectification as well... that's certainly a part of what i addressed here, i see variants of this pose used in so many poor attempts at fitting the "artistic nude" category ( im far from prudish, but, just call it what it is, own it, if you want to draw sex then do so)...there are certainly male counterparts of that issue, perhaps a bit more in photography than drawn art... the problem with depicting that in android context would be an anatomical one i think... not many ways of rendering a mechanical crotch that would not become the focal point of the piece... but it's certainly a challenge, and perhaps a male android figure here, lacking any such anatomy, would make even mire of a statement?... on a side note, i loved your last posted work, you marry beauty and strength in a very natural, definitive way
