Description

Bombus pratorum worker on my very popular bed of daisies. I just love that forward pointing collar which you can see better Here These flowers attract a wonderful variety of insects, and I just wish they were in flower for longer.

I wonder if the animal rights people know this bee is wearing a fur collar. Superb pair of images. Wonderful detail especially on the wings in the second pic.
