Description
Taken at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park. The larger cats, wolves & bears at the park were housed in very large areas with lots of trees & bushes. Good for them, but it made it challenging to photograph them. This cougar seemed to be laying low & hiding most of the time, but I was lucky enough to catch this shot as he briefly moved to a new position...

Looks like natural habitat -very important so they don't feel bored or alone. Nice little "kitty". Nice photo. Looks like you're in the open with it. I assume you were behind glass in the touring vehicle. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to more from this trip. :-)

Actually, no glass or vehicle. , I was standing on elevated pavement above the cougar area, which had a kind of pit between us & them that they couldn't jump across...
