Description

This is part of a larger project I'm working on with a mate. The Machanoids are robots from 1960s Doctor Who who fought the Daleks in a story called The Chase. They then featured in several comic strips and annuals. Mine are not meant to be screen accurate but are designed to evoke the art of Ron Turner with his total disregard for accuracy and his bold use of colour. Everything in the image was built in Truespace and rendered in Bryce 7.1. Post work in Gimp. Thanks for looking :)

One of my favorite stories. It was also the story where Ian and Barbara left.

Well done!

A wonderful image - it looks familiar so I probably saw the original comic strips! (TV21 magazine? Happy days!)
