Description
Today is the anniversary of the Woodstock Music Festival. While I'm part of the generation that grew up on punk and New Wave and the closest we came to a Woodstock moment was Live Aid, I've always been intrigued by the late hippie era. Santana and Hendrix had an awful lot to do with my interest because after I got into jazz I could appreciate their music so much more. Anyway, while no one in this render is intended to represent anyone living or dead, I've decided to share it with the community on this anniversary.

Thank you for your thoughts and comments. I'm glad you liked this one! When I came up with the idea for this render, I was thinking about local tribute bands who might specialize in, say, 70's music. The lead singer would likely look the part (somewhat)but the supporting band may not. That's why I don't have a band of hippies. It's also why the keyboard wizard isn't playing an electric piano and looks like he wandered directly in from another gig with a different band.

Great work !!!! I was part of that generation and almost got as far as Woodstock, had my girl friends parents had different plans for us and the car that never materialized. So much good music from that era. I do hope a musical revolution happens again. Try Jeff Beck's latest. "Load Hailer" 50th anniversary for Jeff.
