Description
I decided to take the bus to Southampton Common today. There are two lakes on the common. One is near the "amenities" (pub, playground, paddling pool) and is concrete. The other, which I prefer, is much more natural and it's a photo of part of that one which I've posted here.

How interesting! The only time I visited was to man a stand in a craft tent there in the seventies!
