I started painting as a child. Over the years I have tried many different techniques. The computer has multiplied the possibilities to create pictures.
I love to make pictures. That is my vocation, my destiny. I don't want to do anything else because it fills me with so much joy that nothing else can compare to it. I cling to each of my pictures, even the less good ones, because a piece of my soul flows into each picture.
If I have the time and I am doing well, I get up early in the morning, have breakfast and then sit down at the computer to make a picture. In my imagination the finished picture is already there and I try to get as close as possible to this imagination.
I am so focused on my work that I forget everything around me.
Sometimes I feel pain because I forget to go to the bathroom.
After a short lunch break I sit down at the computer again.
Working on an average picture can take a whole working day. Afterwards I am exhausted but still it is for the most beautiful thing in the world.

Fantastic lighting, Great render !

This is a nice start to a scene. Good figure, decent lighting (a little more on her face and less on the hand would help shift our focus to her interesting expression and add some highlight to the hair). The smoke is awesome, of course, and the bar texture is cool (although a little soft when compared to the rest of the textures). My one real suggestion for set dressing is to add more stuff. This is a bar, and they tend not to have an empty shelf. You need some more bottles or glasses there. Or a chalkboard with today's drinks on it. Or even a football or some sort of unexpected trophy or item (maybe a radio, but no TV, though). This sort of set dressing will add more realism and interest to the scene -- and help tell her story. Is she there for a hookup? Meeting the private eye to spy on her sugar daddy? Just a poor college girl dolled up for the night about to meet her fate? A few more details will tell us the type of bar she's in, and thus help tell her story. And one final thought (I know, right? I just keep going on and on!): Is that a beer tap to our left? Either bring it int frame or fully out of frame -- right now it's just clutter that is drawing our eyes away from the dame. Anyway, I hope you can tell I'm intrigued by your illustration. Thanks for posting.
