Description

This is a shot of Diamond Hill Rd, Woonsocket, RI. I did some test hovering over a new location for flying today. I always try to find new spots but have to test hover first to get my feet wet. This is focusing down Diamond Hill Rd, Woonsocket, RI heading towards Cumberland, RI with the Woonsocket/Cumberland Water Tower in the back. I remember fond memories going to the plaza across the street to a Child World where the now empty Lowe's Home Improvement shop now stands after they moved to North Smithfield for smaller store mind you in Dowling Village. I remember going to spend my hard earned allowance at Child World, and it was such a disappointment even when it closed and was torn down in my older Teen Age years. I am also hovering at the spot too where the old Roller Kingdom used to be, which housed many good times and I was able to get away from being bullied at school and just finally blend in with other people that didn't even know who I was on the nights that I went to. Yeah, those were the good ol' days. Now it seems like I'm just treated like shit for no reason at all too by adults and people outside my own family who don't even know me and there's no reason for it, especially when it comes from business establishments and being 5 minutes late for an appointment and they give you an attitude over it when my dad has actually missed appointments with no calls and no shows. Oh well, earned them the one star Yelp Review for the process. Have a good one all, hope you don't mind my reminiscing, and have yourselves a great weekend. More Leonardo shots coming from the Diamond HIll area.

Nice to read your reminiscing. It's a part of everyone's life, reminiscing. And the more people we meet who do so, the more we find we have all had similar experiences. The people being nasty to you, could they be the bullies from your youth, now grown up? Or PC bastards moved into town? Can your drone carry air-to-ground missiles? Would be fun to see what happens if one "accidentally" went off into one of those offices! 😈 The area you are showing looks very barren with empty parking lots. I assume a lot has been torn down. Interesting to see the roves of the buildings - at first I couldn't make out the lower right one with all the air conditioners! It looked like farm land! Hope all has gone well at Nantucket. Keep up the good work! :-)

Thanks T.Rex. I have a 3 Day ban coming for asking for a check from when I sold in the market place for my remaining in store credit that was supposed to be done on the 7th and I still haven't gotten it yet. LOL.

But I liked Roller Kingdom, a good place to get a way from all the bullying, and now its gone. 😦 My mom always says the people that were bullies grow up to be bullies, and I've worked with my share of them too. Probably why I get my migraines and misophonia (Hatred of sound ) to this day. All I'd ask for to be honest is a mounted paint ball gun on it. That would be nice. Some chap armed his with a firing pistol....don't know how, but it was a custom built one.

Have a good one T.Rex and see you guys with tons of new photos when my 3D ban is up. What a joke on that part.
