Description

I am so distressed(not the word I want to use) because my gopher tortoises are missing from my yard. There was 4-5 of them and have been here since we cleared the land 29 years ago.. They would come out and graze in the afternoon in the warm sun. I highly suspect it was my alcoholic (again not the word I want to use) neighbor has captured them and killed them. They are protected by Fl. State Law. He slipped yesterday and said he had shot one in his yard. The animals that are in my yard are mine and protected!!!! Sorry for the rant. Beautiful little elfin sprite! Sorry to hear about your turtles. Some people are just twisted and it seems your neighbor is one. Wish you could prove it so they could fine him a hefty sum.

Me too. Some people have no respect for life or mother nature. It is a $5000.00 fine for each one that is disturbed.
