Description
I wanted to create a realistic Loon image. Not sure how well the image works as a whole, though.

Content used: Howie Farkes natural sets (modified and mixed), SongBirdReMix waterfowl bird model (with my own morphs and textures)

Very nice - not to many examples of good nature scenes like this recently.
The dark values in the background are darker then on the bird. It is visually destabilizing because the eye wants to move up instead of focus on the subject. Adding a little more chiaroscuro/haziness to lighten that value will help.

Outstanding image! I'm not familiar with Loon's, but I think that a bit more shine/sheen on the feathers would help a lot, especially with a good bump map to give the feathers more detail.
