Description

Highway #1, Gouldsboro, Maine, USA on July 14, 2016. Camera: Nikon D7100 & Nikkor 18-105mm lens At first I processed this RAW capture as color using Lightroom CC 2015 & Photoshop CC 2015.5. Although I liked the color image, I thought something was missing, So I brought the image into NIK Silver Efex Pro 2.0 and played around until I got this b&w image...

Nice composition and the B&W really fits like a glove, while the postwork enhancements complete this image perfectly.

My father-in-law made large hobby horses in Texas in the 50's, some of aluminum and some of fiberglass. His wife claimed to be the artist of the sculptures.
