Beautifully framed. I wonder what vehicle had that height in 1938. Today is another story. I've seen trucks have their roves shaved off while passing under a bridge. Now, if Texas secedes from the Onion (phew! That smell!) if Hillary wins the election, what will happen to this bridge? It apparently crosses the state border!

A great perspective shot, Richard! I love these old bridges. There used to be one near Pilot Grove MO that still had wood planks for the tires to ride on. It's been replaced, but I got a few photos of it.

That style bridge certainly helped to connect America in a hurry! Excellent photo, Richard. There was one of these in Bismarck ND for many years. They recently took it down and modified the crossing.
