This depicts the feeling of an earthquake quite well. Very well done.

Disturbing and captivating image. This is a perfect depiction of the terrifying chaos that an earthquake creates. I was reminded of Picasso's Guernica. Hopefully I'll never have to experience an earthquake firsthand!

A brilliant and moving image, Giuliano---I saw it when you posted it, and I thought it could be a memorial to war, too, and to other catastrophes. But it definitely evokes "earthquake". You've turned humans and their homes into fractured fragments: Heads and limbs and feet and torsos, all falling in mid-air. And huge blocks from buildings, falling in mid-air. In "free-fall". (Caduta libera?) I.e.: No sky, no ground, just falling. This reminds me a little of Picasso's Guernica. Some of the faces, here, are emerging out of stone, and they look stunned, speechless. Some are "eye-less": The earthquake has taken away their sight, their perception. And the whole image is bathed in a bright mid-day light---because earthquakes happen on big, sunny days, days where nothing seems to be 'wrong', yet---in a mere second---the whole world is turned upside down, and the earth opens up.

Brilliantly done, and very moving. And rendered with great clarity and searing intensity. A very powerful image.
