Description

Last night, after the eye patch came off, I went outside to relax. As I looked up into the night sky, I saw three white lights and they weren't blinking. They were stars! In the southern part of the sky. I was amazed and shook up. I closed my right eye and they disappeared from sight in my left eye. I'll post the photo I took, but it doesn't show the stars (they were faint). It was the first time in a long time that I actually saw the stars... My next surgery is scheduled for September 14 and then I can say hello world and goodbye glasses. If you look very carefully near the lower center, you'll see a white dot, that is one of the stars I saw. You do have to look hard - I even had my camera set for moonlight shooting so this is the best I got.

Hmmmmm. Here in Las Vegas we can't see the stars. The city lights drown them out. Sometimes I drive out of town just to see them.

My eyesight is rotten lol, but even so, you can't see the stars here, there's too much light pollution. Still, I'm glad you saw them! Enjoy! I hope your surgery goes well on the 24th, I'll be keeping all my digits crossed.

OK, I've got this in zoom and now I'm looking at it with my magnifying glass. Oh, there it is! No, wait, that's just dust on my monitor. Glad to see your sense of humor is intact. You must be excited about September 14. Good luck with that, Mike.

I'm hoping you uploaded the wrong picture...otherwise the message you are showing here, is that the surgery failed...but we all know better. Really good news Mike and this mean you can now enlist at NASA !

~Cheers~

Congratulations on what appears to be a very successful operation! I hate to say it but I can't see this star. Perhaps I will have to have the operation! May you have speedy recoveries from both surgeries and I will keep you in my prayers. Best of luck for the September one!

Well I have searched and searched this for the star, I even cleaned the tablet to no avail so maybe I need your op too. I am so glad you got to see the stars and I hope you will soon get to see a lot more of them. 😀

Good for you. I am going to have to have surgery also if I live long enough. I also could not see the stars. I thought I did but it was smudge on TV. Guess I need to get a bigger 4 k one. Anyway good luck.
