Seek and ye shall find. After years of searching, I finally found some lightning bolts on the Internet that don't look corny or amateurish. Since it never rains around here, any thoughts I had of standing out on a wet night trying to photograph, with an open shutter, some of these beauties was pure fantasy. I'm too old and rickety to be standing out in the rain as it is. Anyway, after rendering the nascent image above - I'm electrified by the results - I now have the confidence and wherewithal to create scenes with different cloud effects and earth bound subject matter, including silhouettes.
