Description
I was trying to cover a terrain with grass, and my first idea was to use a hair object. But that didn't work, so I decided to model a single stalk of grass and replicate it several thousand times (inspired by one of PhilW's videos). Every stalk looks slightly different and has a size and rotational variance applied.

Must have the patience of a Saint. I couldn't do it that many times! Came out good looking to me.

Oh, I didn't place those individual grass stalks there manually - that would be testing anybody's patience. I had a Surface Replicator take care of that.
