Description
Meeting this person was far and away the highlight of my day at the local Renaissance Festival. She's way-younger than I am, but has an impressive combination of technical skills and creativity. I really hope she goes far.
She made these brilliant hooves that are rubber, but easier to wear than high heels, even though there *is no heel* to the shoe! We talked "shop" for a good 30 minutes, and could have gone even longer, but there was actually a real, honest-to-god line of people forming to take our picture. I've done my fair share of posing at these things, but I've never had an actual line form before.
I hope I run into her again, she's brilliant.
