Description
I had tried to catch a picture and more than a glimpse of Toucans throughout Central and South America, and finally here, at the eco farm, way at the edge of it, near the horse stables, there was one in a tree. A Toco Toucan.

This is a beauty shot. The light was low, and shiming through his beak. He was low in the branches of a large tree and making such a racket that I figured he was trying to distract me from something else. Sure enough, there was a female sitting in another tree, very quiet and partly hidden. More on my South American trip here at the Cosmic-Pearl Brazil page.
