Description
Captured 6/5/16 @ 12:23 pm, at the beautiful Huntington Beach Concours d'Elegance, held on the vast grounds of the beautiful Huntington Beach Central Park in beautiful Huntington Beach, California.
The Morgan +4 was built for almost 20 years from 1950-1969 with only 4500 cars being produced in that time, making this car relatively rare. They were fitted with bigger engines and were longer and more sporty than their counterparts of the era.
And, is the hood/bonnet so insecure that it needs a leather strap for support? Or is it a reminder of the past, when they were quite common in strapping down luggage at the rear of an auto. Maybe it's just a sign of being chic in the genre of roadsters.

A really charming sport car and very well captured too. I just cant see why he put a leather strap there. Maybe to prevent it to fly away by the Motor flaps? :D

Beautiful machine and a great set of photos. helanker, the strap was to prevent the hood (bonnet) flying open at high speed. I honestly don't know if it was really necessary but it looked cool, so who cares?
