Description
Been a while, been concentrating on YouPic and setting a group on Faceblurb! (Robert Large Photography, if you are on that media thing).
This was somewhat of a surprise buried in a corner (oddly) at this years Stamford Car Show. Its a stunning Jaguar XK150 Drop Head Coupe.. Built in 1958..
One of 662 of the type built for the UK market.. Now, what's so cool about this car is the previous owner. None other than a Mr. Gary Moore, of Thin Lizzy and well known and now sadly no longer here, guitarist..
All bow down and touch the driver seat....
(BIG Lizzy fan me!).

Sharp car and even better being owned by a guitar hero of yours!

Cool POV of this legendary red beast.

Was the limited production anything to do with the disastrous fire at the Browns Lane factory in 1957.
Very cool car mate, I'd love one. Good history too, I liked Gary Moore too.

Gorgeous Image,

Really iconic view of just about when I got my first car and was reading "Sports Cars Illustrated". I hadn't read about "percs" yet nor were Inc. and Company replaced by PC and LLP

Gorgeous. I saw my first drop head coupe when I was 13 while out riding my bike. There was a small foreign car shop in the town we moved to that year. I've been in love with that Jaguar model ever since 1953.
