Description

Taken on the same walk through Jacksonville as my previous post. Again, a house I've passed many times. This large peace sign is electrified & lights up at night. I like the combination of peace sign & national flag, making the point that those who support efforts to resolve conflicts peacefully can be just as patriotic as those who are quick to resort to military force. On our way back from our walk on this particular day, we stopped at the Jacksonville farmer's market & saw a metal-worked peace sign there that we really liked & ending up buying & putting up in the front of our house - a photo of that to follow...
