Description

I finally made it back. Not everything about the flood was horrible. I made a little paper boat and set it out to sail while my husband made a fishing pole to see if he could catch one of the fish that were jumping out of the water. (It was that deep in places) He didn't catch anything, and by morning my little boat was nowhere to be seen. Most of the water has gone back into the stream, and it has left behind a smelly coating of yuck. *sigh* Lots to still clean up! Thanks for taking a look!

Glad you made it through. Having grown up in a small town that flooded regularly, I know about the sludge that covers everything after the water recedes. I think it's wonderful that you were able to have some fun with this. Maybe the boat will make it to the ocean.
