On the left, you have a geometrically regular structure, with its evenly distributed bulges and layer cake layers. But on the right, you have an advancing big slime mold from another planet, where slime molds are way civilized, and they've developed an incredibly articulate set of layers, crevices, cellular structures, and so on. The smooth ground between them is wonderful. (Will that slime build condos there?) And the detail and multi forms of that encroaching 'thing' is marvelous. A complex vision of two different entities, which are in dialogue. Beautifully colored and lit too.
