My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

By golly, I recognize that guy on the bridge:-) Really like your composition. I feel like I am getting a sneak peak from back along the trail. Also like the contrast between the bright light and darker shadows. Moody...

Truly a great capture - love the interplay of light and shadow!

Nice one - I especially like the bridge's shadow. Looks like the creek was pretty dry when you were there. BTW, did you really mean to post this under "Monochrome/Black and White"?
auntietk
Nope! Thanks for the heads up. I have changed it.

Another place I missed while I was there. Nice play of light and shadow. So, Montana, eh? I can hear Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again" playing in the background.

Great capture and great advice lol!

Awesome catch.. superb light!

Hmmm... I think I recognize the "dare devil" on that bridge. Good to take one person at a time across the bridge - it looks rather fragile and unstable - if you don't fall through it, you'll fall over it! Nice framing with the leaves. Keep up the good work! :-)

That is a cute little bridge, that nobody could make me pass :-P Wonderful shot, Tara. So nice to see you both post again :)

...I do not know how high is from the floor...but suspended bridges, always impose respect..:) It is a wonderful place Tara! So tranquil ! I enjoy much the special way how you show the ambient that surrounds the main theme that you want to show us. And how you play with light and shadows ! The details of the shadows are fabulous! It is a great shot as always.

This is a gorgeous shot, Tara! I can see why they say only one person at a time on that bridge! :-D

I don't mean to ignore your architectural shots, but I'm on a tara-nature roll right now, so I seem to be doing them. (No reflection on your signature way with architecture and structures!) More strong light/dark contrasts, and the lone person on the bridge (bill? it doesn't look like him) adds a touch of poetry to the already poetic capture. The angle is sweet too, with the bridge spanning half the picture. And I like how some branches on the far right are on the same diagonal as the ropes holding up the bridge. Bleached light in the center, too---strong contrast and very inviting. Another first rate photo from you.
