Here I am! Hi everybody :)
What about me...Well,I'd love to make my living a pleasant and fruitful experience:I have always liked to paint and make drawings, but I never went to any school.
I love to write, and I like to express my soul in as many ways as I can think of...I don't consider myself an artist, though:I just love art. For more about me, just click here and visit my site.BIOI was born in Firenze, 17th of April 1977.
I am fond of everything which celebrates life and humanity:from writing, to painting, to music till sports and nature, all that captures my attention becomes an interest of mine.
If I'd die tomorrow, I would feel my life has been a worthy one already, but for every day that passes, I feel always more curious about it.
To be an artist (although I don't consider myself so,) means to have a personal vision about all that happens, equally outside than inside. For me it means also to try to connect with other's spirits in unexpectable ways and have an endless will of knowledge, and endless will to discover and test yourself and everything else, without fears, but with all possible emotions in the quest, and from the quest.
The world around it's therefore the best inspiration, all that is into it can touch the inner chords of my soul, although I can't say which way till it doesn't happen. And everytime it happens, it's a reveal, a miracle, and the vibes are the best one can feel.
Then sometimes I watch the blue sky, and I give shape to my heart and mind, and I float around... and smile for my live is really like I want it to be.
I have temporarily suspended my career as University Researcher, testing myself as Administrative Manager right now, and I still asking myself if what I got finally was awareness or disillusion, but anyway, it's my attitude to never regret anything that I made consciously.Let's give life a new try.
I am very fond of Foreign Cultures, they enlarge also my artistical perceivement of life, and it's something I find absolutely enriching.
I have never learnt English, so forgive me if I am not good at speaking nor writing it.
I can speak and write in French, I can read Spanish, I know Ancient Latin and Greek.
And of course, I am Italian so, my Mother Tongue has got no mystery for me.
Hooray for Dante! ;)

It is always nice to get a drawing from you.. :) The eyes are really powerful. It makes me feel like I have seen the eyes before but at the same time like I have never seen them. They sure give a sense of mystic&peace. And the rest of the face and drawing are perfectly made too. It is just plain and simple a fantastic pencil drawing. :) I am proud to have it sitting on my wall. And for everything else too. :)

Your modeling seems to be getting increasingly more subtle and your linework more precise. You're making beautiful drawings and piercing studies in feminine beauty. Needless to say I enjoy your work very much. I don't always comment on your pics 'cause by the time I get to them everything has already been said. Your stuff is very popular --and rightfully so ;)

This is really beautiful, I really love it. The eyes are done very well. I can't think of anything that hasn't been said yet...anything constructive that is ;)

un ritratto molto suggestivo..la forma del viso ed il capello gli conferiscono un'aria molto sensuale...senza dubbi un meraviglioso lavoro.

Beautiful Meli. Exceptional form. The eyes are beautiful, but so also is the rest of the sketch. Her hair is exceptionally well done and you always do the most wonderful faces!

As usual, it's beautiful... She seems so alive... I can feel her glances (Hmmm... the name... can it be Ines Sastre?)
lemonjim
excellent series, they make a nice group. unbelievable pencil skills - what i like - full white to full black + combines some hard lines and edges + with some smooth textures + in good proportions. and they look "alive", just look at the skin, it glows. i am never this succesful when i try! hot20 today.
gallimel
Ines Sastre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is :) (she is short and black haired.. but that is!!!! ) Thank you Lucia! :) Now I feel better :)

This is Ercles's vein. I'll speak in a montrous little voice. I am slow of study. I will roar, that I will do any man's heart good to hear me. And thus I do honour thee.

Oh Meli..... this is your best yet... those beguiling eyes stare deep into my soul :-) She's captivating. I love the pose of her arm as well. Thanx for posting... hugs and kisses, Jim :-)
gallimel
the original picture shows but arms that way, but I didn't like that so I did it in my own way. :) But the good idea for the hand is not mine, so fully credit to the one who shot it (dunno who he or she might be ;) ) Thank you everyone :) and special thanx to you dear Jim :)

She does have beautiful eyes ;)

ALL the series is brilliant. The characters are lovely and charming. Frankly speaking there is something in common between You and Your characters (especially ## 3 & 5). It's unbelievable how do You manage to express so much in a mere pencilwork. You sure have some secret...

I really like the way that the lips are drawn. And those eys speek as books, you can olmost see whats on here mind, or at least i want to now!! i mean how can you say no to a beautiful face like that.

Your best portrait to date. Keep this in your portfolio as one of your best works. Beautifully rendered and shaped. My one quibble is in the use of countour lines. It seems as if there are too many 100% black lines; elsewhere ("Eyes5 - Homage to Brent" for example) you use many different shades to show contour. In this piece, in the hair and eyebrows, there are black lines edged by a few light grey lines. While this is certainly a brilliantly contrasty effect, as shown by the "squint test" (in which I purposefully de-focus and partially close my eyes), the overall impression is that this piece is only 80 to 90% finished. That is certainly not the case, this work is exquisitely accomplished; but the edges look too sharp, almost a little harsh. Otherwise, I am proud of your more effective use of white-space in this piece, as compared to others of yours. You obviously weren't afraid to let some of the highlight areas stay mostly white and "empty." (Although on the other hand, the darker portions of her skin could have been slightly darker; but that's definitely just my own subjective opinion.) A great work, definitely an A+!
