Description
Pure foolishness, Natalie thought. For all her talk about the shortest distance being a straight line through a lake, Phaetara seemed to take her own sweet time and not be concerned about anything.
Fortune seemed to smile on them, Natalie realized. The gods look after the foolish, so they say. So far there were no hoodlums or rogues about trying to take shots at them in the open surrounding. Such fortune, however, can be fleeting. She wished they could hurry on!
