Description


First attempt at anination. Thinking of putting together a series of martial arts poses and animations. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Very good! One minor point. It seems to me that his torso twists too far to his left on the up stroke and on the way back down. If you are capable of doing it, try doing the same kick yourself in front of a mirror. Keep it up :)

I disagree with the previous comments. I study Wushu (Kung Fu) and belive that a side kick at this height would reqiure you to twist about that much in order to maintain balance and keep your eye on the target. I like the detail placed on the foot. Most people don't know that this kick strikes with the heel.

yes, this is excellent work. i also think his torso is twisted too much though. as for studio187, he seems to twist a lot just raising his leg. i'd also suggest you keep his head pointed in the same direction while he's kicking. you have the mechanics of the kick down though.
