You've got that right ! ! ! R 'n' R is definitely here to stay ! ! ! If you replace that red Fender Stratocaster with a white Fender Telecaster, that back wall would look very similar to one of my family room walls ! ! ! Really nice work ! ! !

I was a jazz musician for many years, as well as classical, and played with many drummers; with microphones and speakers, etc. I played Rock too. So I'm familiar with this stuff. You got the drumset down, you have a good angle on it, I see the guitars on the wall (one acoustic, one electric), you have the speakers---I love the orange trim on them---and the mike on an empty stool, which is a real club sight. And the city poster with that neon "Rock and Roll" sign. And in the center? Two kids dancing, which is delightful; and the boy even has 'spectator' shoes, those two toned shoes that were originally associated with jazz and the 20s. (Maybe they're saddle shoes from the 50s, which would fit the old rock and roll world.) You set them off with a black couch. And you have an owl! Maybe looking on, in gentle detachment...Fine evocation; and that drummer is dressed like a rock drummer for sure. In jazz, we mostly wore coats and ties; but in Rock, people wore much more colorful clothes. (An old girlfriend used to say, "why do Rock musicians always dress that way?" I said, "because they're ROCK musicians. They're breaking the mold!") Delightful.
