Description

How it would have been if... Well, the Avro Canada CF-105 Arrow needs no introduction. Every knows it. ;-) What I wonder is, how the weapon bay would have worked. I couldn't find any serious description or pictures how the weapons bay would have worked...

Oh what could have been, indeed! The Brits had the TSR2, the Americans the XB-70... we had the Arrow.

I have some diagrams/plans for the Arrow. The weapons itself pallet was completely removable. There were a series of narrow doors that were to open. The missiles were mounted inside on moveable arms that would lower them outside the bay, and from there they'd be launched/dropped. At least that was the plan!

Great render!
