Description
This was my entry for the 'Mousetrap'-contest at 3DLuvr ... I'm not very satisfied with the judgement this time, not because of my ranking, because of all the other ... I think there are lots of good works not well voted and lots of bad works to good voted - I think here ends my contest-time, I better care more for my own ideas and my comercial work.

Hey there, don't give in my friend. I seem to remember a couple of contests ago that you got 2nd place! ;-) We'll get em next time around! This is superb by the way!

Yep well anytime you have public voting like that, it can turn into a popularity contest. You know, people drumming up votes from their friends, multiple IPs and email address cheaters, etc. Also there is no accounting for taste... BTW, Eric I saw your pics in 3D world magazine, nice going.

Excellent image. Beautifully modeled and nicely lit. Doesn't grab me emotionally though, don't know why. Haven't been following this competition, I'll have to take a look at the others now. VH
