“Oh Hailey! How clumsy of me, I’m terribly sorry. Are you all right?”
Hailey answers: “I’m OK, just a few bumps. I was worried about you going up the steps in those heels and I guess I wasn’t watching my step.”
If Hailey suspects the warning about Elenoir’s bad intentions are confirmed by the incident, she isn’t letting on.
(The original version of the ‘accident’ scene came out rather tame. This version ought to be more convincing.)
