Sargent Tincan may have been somewhat battered in that last skirmish, but he's still got a few clips left for his BFG and that ain't going to waste...ooh rah !
A bit like my situation, last Sunday after wasting days trying send my tutor my project over the net, I resorted to snail mail...well, Friday afternoon came along and the tutor still hadn't received the USB (it only had to travel about 100 km, ???)...awe, nuts and if that didn't suck, Monday is a public holiday...arrrghh, by the Gods, cursed of what ? So, I guess my BFG was that, the ocean in my game level now interacts with the shore line and the wharf piers (tessellation & displacement) also looks a whole heap better and I've also getting the lighting fine tuned...a win in my books...yay !

Great composition; offsetting the pop of red color to the side is simply classic design... and that's why it works. I like the way he slumps -- it adds a nice touch of humanity to the scene. The lighting is good -- I like that I can make out the figure against the ground (although maybe adding a hint of metal-blue to his form would make his leg pop a little more). The ground is a bit unrealistic looking in comparison to the rest of the scene, though. It's really the only area that I think needs work. The rest -- figure, composition and lighting -- are excellent. Keep up the good work -- and I'll send you a PM with an alternative suggestion for sending files.

Ah lightwave, I'm trying to find a good book for Lightwave 11....noooooooo..... Yeah, he definitely has that "I'ma just sit right here" pose. I've adopted that one many times myself.

I don't know much about games, but this is a fantastic picture. I especially like the glowing effect of the eyes and the gun.

Aren't we all getting a bit tired of playing games (?) - but then again, we don't have to carry big heavy guns like this one around, no wonder he looks exhausted...
perhaps he needs a top-up or perhaps an oil change ? just a thought - what do I know, what bots like ? ;P
