Thank you for the wonderful wonderful comments and favs and likes on my renders.
I had bought Miho a ring and she was happy. She asked me to take a snap of her with her wearing it.
About this render:
Just a close up render of Miho using the last scene but before I had added all the props and characters and had changed her to relaxed pose. I did repose her hand for this one. I have a habit to saving my scenes into different files as I continue working on the scene which allows me to go back and pick up from a earlier point if I want to. This was such a case. Actually I had found that SSS on Miho's skin was not working at all through a feature of Octane plugin called beauty pass where you can do light passes, diffuse passes, specular pass, SSS passes etc. I had turned on the SSS pass and was getting nothing on Miho's skin. So it would seem the SSS was not working till the resort island renders. For the last render I had opened up the Octane Node editor to see what was going wrong. After going over the nodes over and over again finally found the node that was causing the SSS to not render. It was a scattering node. So fixed it for every texture on Miho.
The skirt part of the dress is actually a specular texture map for a texture map for the dress. But I liked how it looked and decided to use the specular texture map as the actual texture. Shows you if you are willing to poke around the actual texture folders sometimes you can find things you would not see if you are just clicking icons on DAZ to load the dress texture. For the top part, I re-colored it from blue to the earthly color you see using a Octane color correction node. The color change brought out the details in white.
I also added SSS on the hair. I think it looks very natural specially were the shine is. I did also do some tweaks to her face near the nose bridge after the resort island renders and also did some work on the breasts to make them more natural.
