“Take care, Hailey!” Aram’s hand closes over hers...
Matilda looks on with a slight smile. Her intentions for Hailey and Aram have taken a step forward even if they have quite a way to go. She has come to know Aram pretty well, when drops in at the kitchen for biscuits and tea as policemen so often do. He has been looking for the perfect woman for so long, now that he sees her, and she hasn’t jumped into his arms, he doesn’t know what to do next.
